Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are working in partnership with Foster Wales Cardiff to build a pool of experienced Form F and Connected Person’s (CPA) Assessors. This is a flexible opportunity for Social Workers who are passionate about fostering and want to support families through their journey.
Completing Coram Baaf Form F and/or Connected Person’s Assessments
Visiting prospective foster/kinship carers face-to-face in their homes
Preparing full assessments for presentation to fostering panel (held on Wednesdays)
Working under your own initiative, with regular supervision and check-ins from the fostering team
Registered with Social Care Wales (SCW) – please ensure your CV clearly states this
Living within 40 miles of Cardiff
3+ years fostering experience including completion of Form F’s / CPA’s
Confident in presenting to panel and supporting carers on their fostering journey
£2,000 per completed assessment
45p per mile mileage reimbursement
Flexible project-based work with regular support from a dedicated supervising social worker
