Locum ADHD Assessor & Prescriber
Pay rate:
£50 – £75 per hour (dependent on experience, role scope and setting)

Role overview:
We are supporting several NHS and private ADHD services seeking experienced ADHD clinicians with prescribing capability to support assessment, medication initiation and titration pathways. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians looking for flexible, well-remunerated locum work within structured, NICE-aligned ADHD services.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct adult ADHD assessments using recognised diagnostic frameworks
Initiate and titrate ADHD medication in line with NICE guidance
Undertake medication reviews and ongoing treatment monitoring
Complete physical-health checks and risk assessments as required
Produce clear, defensible clinical documentation
Liaise with MDTs and primary care around shared-care arrangements
Requirements:
Registered clinician (RMN, RGN, RNLD, Psychiatrist or equivalent)
Independent Prescriber (V300) or medical prescriber
6 months Proven experience delivering ADHD assessments and treatment
Strong understanding of ADHD medication management and governance
Comfortable working remotely and managing caseloads independently
