A Day in the Life of a Band 5 Dialysis Nurse:

Join our team and provide essential care to dialysis patients in a professional and supportive NHS environment. Your core responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure individual needs are met.
• Administering medications, treatments, and dialysis therapies in line with hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitoring patients’ conditions, performing clinical observations, and responding to any changes appropriately.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
• Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that enhances patient recovery and wellbeing.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Current and valid NMC registration (minimum 6 months).
• At least 6 months of experience in a clinical setting.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and effectively manage patient care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This flexible locum role requires availability for full-time or part-time shifts, with potential adjustments based on service needs. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension.
