Locum Clinical/Counselling Psychologist – Adult Inpatient – £45ph – Potters Bar – 2 to 4 Days/Week

We’re currently recruiting for a HCPC-registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the adult acute inpatient service at Elysium Healthcare, Potters Bar, on a flexible locum basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide psychological support to adults with complex mental health needs within a trauma-informed model of care, working alongside a strong MDT.

• Pay Rate: £45 per hour (Umbrella)

Role Summary:

• Deliver psychological assessments and brief interventions (CBT/DBT-informed)

• Support adult male and female patients in an inpatient acute setting (23-bed service)

• Contribute to MDT risk formulations, staff reflective practice, and care planning

• Offer consultation and formulation support to staff and wider team

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist

• Previous inpatient or acute mental health experience preferred

• Strong psychological formulation and intervention skills

• Available to start immediately
