Job Title: CPN/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist (Band 6)
Location: Laurel House, Rochford Hospital, Rochford
Duration: Ongoing Locum Contract
Schedule: 09:00 – 17:00, 5 days a week over a 7-day period
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £26.00 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 6 Care Coordinator within the East Essex Support and Treatment for Early Psychosis (ESTEP) Service. In this role, you will:

• Undertake care coordination for a small caseload of clients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate recovery-focused care plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and ensure adherence to NICE guidelines and National Early Intervention standards.
• Participate in data collection on entry/exit pathways and service outcomes.
• Conduct risk assessments and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
• Offer clinical supervision and professional support to junior staff.
• Work flexibly as part of a 7-day service, ensuring high-quality care for clients.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid professional registration (NMC for CPNs, HCPC for Social Workers and OTs).
• Experience working with early intervention in psychosis or mental health services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position with availability from Monday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00, on a rolling locum contract with the possibility of extension.
