What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Clinical Psychologist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with dementia and their carers. In this role, you will:
• Provide psychological assessments and interventions for people with dementia
• Work with carers and families to offer emotional support and guidance
• Conduct 1:1 therapy and group sessions, focusing on coping strategies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A qualified Clinical Psychologist with HCPC registration
• Experience working with individuals with dementia or within older people’s services
• Ability to travel to the service
• A passion for supporting people with dementia and their carers
Desirable:
• Experience working in a CID (Community Integrated Dementia) setting
• Experience with therapeutic interventions for carers
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role is a full-time locum position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The position is ongoing, and the contract length will be determined based on service needs.
