Locum Scrub Nurse – Shetland Islands

Job Type: Locum / Temporary
Location: Shetland Islands
Pay Rate: £30.00 – £40.00 per hour
Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential extension)
Shift: Monday to Friday

  • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (paid 9.5 hours)
  • 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (paid 6 hours)

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain sterile environment in the operating room
  • Assist the surgical team and respond swiftly during emergencies
  • Draping, de-gowning, and transferring patients to recovery
  • Complete documentation

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration
  • Minimum 6 months NHS scrub experience
  • Clinical reference and employment history
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
  • Right to work in the UK
