Join our team as a Mental Health Nurse in a ward-based setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Planning and delivering direct patient care without supervision
✔ Supporting service users with mental health conditions in an inpatient setting
✔ Conducting risk assessments and implementing care plans
✔ Supervising and mentoring healthcare assistants
✔ Ensuring compliance with the Mental Health Act, Care Programme Approach, and NMC standards
✔ Managing medication safely and effectively
✔ Contributing to multi-disciplinary team meetings and care reviews
To be successful in this role, you will need:
✔ A valid NMC registration and pin
✔ Previous experience as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN) in a ward setting
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
✔ A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
✔ Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
