We’re seeking an experienced Principal Psychologist to provide maternity leave cover for our Eating Disorder Ward. This is a pivotal role combining clinical expertise with team leadership.

• Role: Principal Psychologist (Maternity Cover)
• Location: Inpatient Eating Disorder Ward
• Hours: 22.5 hours per week
• Rate: £45 per hour
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Leave Cover)

🧠 A Day in the Life

You’ll be leading the Psychology and Eating Disorder Therapy Team, overseeing therapeutic interventions and ensuring high standards of psychological care. Your clinical input will directly support patients on their recovery journey, while your leadership will guide and support a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

✅ Requirements

• HCPC-registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
• Significant experience in inpatient mental health settings
• Expertise in eating disorders and psychological therapies
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Available to start immediately

⏰ Working Hours

• 22.5 hours per week
