A Day in the Life of a Psychologist:

Join a dedicated team supporting children and young people with complex needs. As the school’s Psychologist, you’ll play a key role in promoting emotional wellbeing, supporting learning, and contributing to a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans
  • Supporting staff with formulation, reflective practice, and training
  • Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Contributing to EHCPs, reviews, and progress tracking
  • Promoting a psychologically safe and inclusive school culture

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience working with children and young people in educational or clinical settings
  • Strong skills in assessment, formulation, and intervention
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals
  • Commitment to trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practice
