You’ll provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for adults with acute mental health needs. This service follows a formulation-led, trauma-informed model, where collaboration and reflective practice are core to the team’s culture.
You will also contribute to:
Running therapeutic groups
Reflective practice sessions for ward staff (AM/PM cover)
Clinical supervision for assistants and trainees
MDT risk management and care planning
HCPC registration
Doctoral training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
Inpatient and acute mental health experience (desirable)
Strong skills in CBT/DBT and psychological formulation
