What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Wheelchair Technician Instructor and play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality and comfort of patients using NHS wheelchairs. In this role, you will:

• Carry out quality control checks and repairs on manual and powered wheelchairs
• Work independently while being part of the wider wheelchair repair service
• Supervise and support staff within the maintenance team
• Provide on-site service across various environments including homes, schools and hospitals
• Deliver a high standard of technical repair and patient care

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Relevant experience in wheelchair maintenance (manual and powered)
• Strong technical, mechanical or electrical repair skills
• The ability to work independently and manage a small team
• A professional and caring approach when working in patient-focused environments
• A full UK driving licence (desirable for home/school visits)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a short-term locum contract running from 14th April to 9th May 2025, with working days from Monday to Friday. There may be potential for extension depending on service needs.
