Location: Luton (Hybrid Working Model) | Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours) | Salary: Top of Band 7 / Band 8a (D.O.E)

We are seeking an ambitious, highly experienced, and BABCP-Accredited CBT Therapist to join our established IAPT service in Luton as a Team Leader.

This unique permanent role is designed for a senior practitioner ready to step into high-impact management without sacrificing clinical practice. You will be instrumental in driving quality standards and clinical excellence across your team while benefiting from significant remote working flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership: Provide line management and expert clinical supervision to three qualified CBT Therapists.
  2. Clinical Practice: Maintain a small caseload (6 patients) delivering specialist High-Intensity CBT for depression and anxiety disorders.
  3. Quality Assurance: Monitor IAPT performance metrics, ensure fidelity to the CBT model, and lead on complex risk management.

Essential Requirements

  • Full BABCP Accreditation as a CBT Therapist is MANDATORY.
  • A recognised Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT.
  • Significant post-qualification clinical experience in an IAPT setting.
  • Proven experience in providing clinical supervision or mentoring/leadership to clinical staff.
  • Office Attendance: Must be able to work from the Luton office for a MINIMUM of 2 days per week (3 days remote working offered).
