Job Title: Clinical Psychologist (Band 7)
Location: Earley Gate, Reading
Duration: 12-month maternity cover
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £30 per hour (Umbrella, negotiable – higher rates considered)

Join a dedicated team providing psychological input to patients with learning disabilities. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care through assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions.
Your responsibilities include:
• Conducting psychological assessments and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Delivering therapeutic interventions to support emotional and behavioural needs.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintaining clear and compliant clinical documentation.
• Offering consultation and guidance to staff and families involved in patient care.
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (essential).
• Experience working with learning disabilities and complex presentations.
• NHS experience is desirable but not essential.
• Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Strong interpersonal, assessment, and communication skills.
This is a full-time, 37.5-hour role, Monday to Friday, on a 12-month maternity cover contract, with potential for extension based on service needs and performance.
