Are you an experienced CBT or Talking Therapies Team Leader looking for a short-term contract to make an immediate impact? We’re recruiting for a CBT Team Leader to support a Talking Therapies service on a 6-week to 3-month contract, working 2 days per week.
This role is perfect for someone with strong data and audit experience who enjoys improving service quality and operational processes without direct management or supervision responsibilities.

Experience Required: Must have Talking Therapies Team Leader or management experience – non-negotiable
Role Overview:
In this role, you’ll work closely with senior management to review and improve service data and audit processes within a busy Talking Therapies team. You will:
• Analyse and interpret service performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Contribute to service development and quality assurance
• Support compliance with Talking Therapies KPIs and national standards
This is a strategic and operational role — ideal for a motivated professional who can work autonomously and deliver results efficiently.
Requirements:
• Proven Talking Therapies Team Leader / Management experience (essential)
• Background in CBT or IAPT / Talking Therapies services
• Strong data management, reporting, and audit experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes within a short timeframe
Working Hours & Duration:
• 2 days per week, flexible working pattern
• Initial 6-week contract with potential for extension up to 3 months
