Hunter Mental Health are seeking experienced ADHD Prescribers to deliver high-quality medication initiation, titration and follow-up reviews for NHS-partnered and independent ADHD services.
We welcome applications from:
Psychiatrists, Independent Non-Medical Prescribers (V300), RMNs/RNLDs with V300, and Advanced Practitioners with ADHD prescribing experience.
You will provide safe, evidence-based ADHD medication management, including initiation, dose titration, therapeutic monitoring and clear communication with patients, families and MDT colleagues.
Initiate ADHD medication and lead titration in line with NICE NG87
Complete structured medication reviews and ongoing follow-up
Adjust treatment safely based on clinical response and tolerability
Produce clear, accurate clinical documentation
Communicate with GPs for shared-care transitions
Contribute to governance, audit and pathway quality improvement
V300 Independent Prescribing Qualification (essential for nurses)
Psychiatrists must be registered to prescribe
Minimum 6 months’ direct ADHD prescribing/titration experience
Strong understanding of stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medications
Experience working remotely within structured pathways
Full professional registration (NMC or GMC)
Confident autonomous clinical decision-making
£60 – £75 per hour, dependent on experience
