🧠 A Day in the Life

You will play a key role in establishing and growing the Educational Psychology arm of the service, delivering thorough and compassionate assessments within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive educational and cognitive assessments

  • Completing Form 8 reports for exam access arrangements

  • Assessing for Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), including dyslexia

  • Interpreting psychometric data and producing clear, high-quality reports

  • Providing strengths-based, supportive feedback to young people and families

  • Working collaboratively within a neuroaffirmative clinic that already delivers Autism, ADHD, and cognitive assessments

✅ Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered, you must:

  • Be an HCPC Registered Educational Psychologist

  • Have experience completing educational and cognitive assessments

  • Be confident and experienced in completing Form 8 reports for exam adjustment applications

  • Have experience assessing for Specific Learning Difficulties, including dyslexia

  • Work in a strengths-based, child-centred and neuroaffirmative way

  • Be available to deliver assessments in person in Essex
