This is an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Psychiatrist to join a developing service focused on providing high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals with FND.

You will support residents presenting with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), contributing psychiatric expertise within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities may include:
Psychiatric assessment and formulation
Diagnostic clarification
Medication review and management
Risk assessment and management planning
Working closely with psychology and wider MDT colleagues
Contributing to care pathways for FND presentations
Experience working with Functional Neurological Disorder is highly desirable and welcomed; however, clinicians with transferable neuropsychiatric or complex mental health experience are encouraged to apply.
GMC registration with a licence to practise
CCT or Section 12 approval (desirable)
Experience working within adult mental health services
Experience with Functional Neurological Disorder (essential or highly desirable)
Strong MDT working skills
2 days per week
