Join a specialist inpatient service providing assessment and treatment for people with dementia. This service focuses on short-term care for individuals with significant needs, supporting their return to the community. Your role will involve:
Providing psychological input to the ward, including assessment and intervention
Supporting patients with complex needs to improve outcomes and independence
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to tailor care plans
Contributing to case reviews, team discussions, and family consultations
HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist
Experience in dementia care and working with older adults in inpatient settings
Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and multidisciplinary collaboration
Ability to provide specialist psychological input in complex cases
Flexible locum contract
Hours can be tailored to availability
