Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are currently recruiting for an experienced clinician to carry out ADHD and Autism (ASD) assessments across the lifespan in a flexible hybrid role based in Maidenhead. This opportunity offers 2–3 days per week, combining remote working from home with one clinic day per week conducting face-to-face assessments.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive ADHD and Autism diagnostic assessments for individuals aged 8 years and above. Working as part of a specialist neurodevelopmental service, you will utilise evidence-based assessment tools and clinical interviews to evaluate and support individuals across the lifespan.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting ADHD and ASD diagnostic assessments

  • Completing clinical interviews and reviewing developmental history

  • Using recognised assessment frameworks and diagnostic tools

  • Producing clear and structured clinical assessment reports

  • Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team when required

Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be a qualified clinician (e.g., Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Nurse Prescriber, or other suitably qualified professional)

  • Have experience completing ADHD and/or ASD diagnostic assessments

  • Be confident assessing children, adolescents and adults (8+)

  • Be able to attend the Maidenhead clinic once per week for face-to-face assessments

  • Hold relevant professional registration (e.g., HCPC, NMC, GMC or equivalent)

Working Hours & Contract Duration

This role offers 2–3 days per week, with a hybrid working structure. Clinicians will conduct one day per week of face-to-face assessments in the Maidenhead clinic, with remaining assessment work completed remotely from home.

The service is open to clinicians seeking locum, sessional or permanent arrangements, offering flexibility depending on availability.
