This role focuses on delivering initial mental health assessments for children and young people, working within a structured and supportive multidisciplinary team.

• 9:00–17:30

Key responsibilities

• Complete urgent and routine mental health assessments
• Support children and young people with moderate to severe mental health needs
• Contribute to care planning and clinical decision-making
• Work collaboratively within MDT settings
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Practitioner (RMN or equivalent)
• Experience within CAMHS or young people’s mental health services
• Strong assessment and risk management skills
• Ability to work independently within a structured service
