Salary: £38,582 – £46,580 per annum

Hours: 24/7 Service (Shift Based)

Overview

We are supporting a Trust in Grimsby with the appointment of a permanent Band 6 clinician into their integrated Access Team, which incorporates:

• Crisis Services
• Liaison Services
• Single Point of Access (SPA)

Due to internal restrictions, no agency sign-off is available across the Trust, so this must be a permanent appointment. The hiring manager has confirmed they would consider two strong clinicians, even though the formal vacancy is for one post.

This is a fast-paced, frontline role within an established 24/7 mental health access service, providing urgent assessments and triage across pathways.

Salary Structure

• £38,582 – £46,580 (dependent on experience)
• Typically:
  • Circa £40,623 offered to clinicians with 2+ years’ experience
  • Top of band (£46,580) considered for 5+ years’ experience

Relocation Package

• Up to £4,000 relocation support
  • £4,000 if selling a property and relocating to Grimsby
  • £1,000 if moving from rental to rental
• Candidates must evidence relocation for HMRC purposes
• Payments are processed over an agreed timeframe via HMRC
• Retaining a primary residence elsewhere and renting locally will not qualify

Shift Pattern

24/7 rota including:

• 8:00am – 8:30pm
• 8:30pm – 8:00am
• Occasional 6:00pm – 6:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Frontline mental health triage and assessment
• Crisis response and risk management
• Liaison assessments within acute settings
• Managing referrals via SPA
• Collaborative MDT working

Requirements

• RMN or Social Worker (with relevant registration)
• Experience in Crisis / Liaison / Acute / Access services
• Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work within a 24/7 rota
