Band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner – MIU
Location: Princess of Wales Community Hospital, Bromsgrove
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: 3–4 days per week on a rota basis
Service: 7-day service cover required
Start: ASAP
Rates:

  • £30 per hour – Days

  • £36 per hour – Nights

  • £42 per hour – Sundays / Bank Holidays

We are working with a well-established Minor Injuries Unit to recruit an experienced Band 7 Emergency Nurse Practitioner for a 12-week contract based at Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive urgent care service delivering high-quality autonomous clinical care.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Independently assessing, diagnosing and treating patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses

  • Managing a full caseload within the MIU setting

  • Ordering and interpreting investigations, including X-rays

  • Prescribing and formulating management plans within scope of practice

  • Providing senior clinical decision-making and leadership within the service

  • Supporting junior staff and contributing to service delivery across sites when required

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration

  • Qualified Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP)

  • Independent Non-Medical Prescriber – desirable (not essential)

  • Extensive experience working within Minor Injuries / Urgent Care settings

  • Competent in assessing and treating a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses

  • Confident working autonomously

Working Hours & Contract Details

  • 12-week contract

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Rota-based shifts across 7-day service

  • Job share will be considered

  • Must be willing to travel to other MIU locations if required:

    • Evesham Community Hospital

    • Malvern Community Hospital

    • Tenbury Community Hospital
