Pay Rates:

  • £350–£400 per ADHD assessment (Face-to-Face, CAMHS)

  • £50–£60 per 20-minute follow-up (Online)

  • £750 per combined Autism (ADOS + ADI-R) assessment


Overview

Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are working in partnership with a leading private neurodevelopmental clinic in Harley Street, seeking an experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to support the ongoing delivery of high-quality ADHD and Autism assessments for children and young people.

This opportunity offers flexible engagement — ideal for clinicians seeking to supplement NHS or private practice commitments — with both face-to-face and remote assessment options available.


The Role

  • Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments using structured tools such as DIVA-5, SNAP-IV, and Conners.

  • Lead or contribute to Autism diagnostic assessments (ADOS-2 and ADI-R), providing integrated clinical formulation and reports.

  • Deliver short follow-up reviews and medication check-ins via secure online platform.

  • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, safeguarding, and governance compliance.

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, nurse prescribers, and therapists.


Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with CCT or equivalent experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

  • Demonstrable experience conducting ADHD and Autism assessments in CAMHS or private settings.

  • Training in ADOS-2 and ADI-R (essential for Autism pathway).

  • Strong communication, clinical formulation, and report-writing skills.

  • Ability to work flexibly and deliver timely, evidence-based assessments.
