Job Introduction
We are recruiting an experienced High Intensity Team Leader to join an innovative Talking Therapies service in Bedfordshire. This integrated wellbeing service combines emotional health programmes with lifestyle support and is committed to providing accessible, person-centered care to local communities.

Alongside supporting clients’ emotional and physical health, staff wellbeing is a priority, with access to training, masterclasses, and development opportunities across evidence-based psychological therapies.

This is a hybrid role combining office-based and home working, with a minimum of 2-3 days in the office.


Salary

£55,450 – £60,505 per year, depending on years qualified


Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of therapists delivering high intensity interventions

  • Manage your own caseload and provide clinical supervision (IAPT Supervision Course essential)

  • Support your team to meet both service and individual targets

  • Develop strong therapeutic relationships with clients and collaborative working relationships with colleagues

  • Deliver evidence-based therapies including CBT/EMDR or IPT/PCEC

  • Support and promote lifestyle interventions such as exercise, healthy living programmes, and social prescribing

  • Work flexibly across various days, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs


The Ideal Candidate

  • Accredited in CBT/EMDR or IPT/PCEC

  • Extensive mental health experience, including team supervision

  • Proven ability to develop therapeutic relationships and lead a team effectively

  • Motivated to contribute to service development and staff growth


Working Hours & Flexibility

  • Hybrid role: office-based and home working (minimum 2-3 days in office)

  • Flexible working across weekdays, evenings, and weekends

  • Incentivised pay for weekend work and additional hours
