Are you a Band 6 Scrub Nurse looking for a rewarding locum role in Shetland Islands? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

• Job Title: Scrub Nurse (Band 6)
• Location: Shetland Islands
• Duration: 3-Month Agency Placement (Potential for Extension)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate of Pay: £30 – £40 per hour (Umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Scrub Nurse and play a key role in providing high-quality surgical care. In this role, you will:

• Set up and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
• Assist the surgical team before, during, and after procedures
• Respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations
• Drape, de-gown, and transfer patients to recovery post-surgery
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital protocols

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid NMC registration and pin
• Minimum 6 months NHS scrub experience
• Clinical reference and full employment history
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position, requiring availability from Monday to Friday. The contract is for 3 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
