Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are supporting a growing service in Lincoln seeking a Mental Health Psychologist to contribute to their expanding Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) provision.

This role offers the opportunity to work therapeutically with residents presenting with complex neuropsychological and functional presentations.

🧠 A Day in the Life

You will provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for residents with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

Responsibilities may include:

  • Comprehensive psychological assessments

  • Collaborative formulation of FND presentations

  • Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions

  • Supporting psychoeducation and coping strategies

  • Working within a multidisciplinary framework

  • Contributing to service development

Experience working with FND is highly desirable; however, clinicians with strong experience in complex mental health, neuropsychology, or medically unexplained symptoms will also be considered.


✅ Requirements & Qualifications

  • HCPC Registered Psychologist (Clinical/Counselling/Forensic)

  • Experience working in adult mental health settings

  • Experience with Functional Neurological Disorder (desirable)

  • Strong formulation and therapeutic skills

  • Ability to work autonomously one day per week
