Role: Occupational Health Advisor – Case Management
Pay Rate: £30–£35 per hour (based on OHA experience)
Hours: 15–20 hours per week
Location: North Yorkshire (1st week on-site induction in Northallerton, then fully remote)

North Yorkshire Council’s Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join their specialist practitioner team.
The service delivers occupational health case management, health promotion and health surveillance across Council services, Schools & Academies, and external contracts. Following a one-week on-site induction at County Hall, Northallerton, the role will be fully remote with flexible home working.
Managing a structured occupational health caseload
Delivering management referrals and case management reports
Providing clear, evidence-based advice to managers
Supporting positive workplace outcomes through practical recommendations
Working autonomously while contributing to a small specialist OH team
Qualified Occupational Health Advisor
Proven experience in occupational health case management
Strong written reporting skills
Ability to manage own workload effectively
Customer-focused, solution-driven approach
High clinical and professional standards
Flexible remote working after induction
