Practice Nurse – Sutton

Are you a Band 6 Practice Nurse with Primary Care experience looking for a new role in Epsom?
We’re recruiting for a skilled healthcare professional to join a busy GP surgery or Primary Care Network (PCN) team on a flexible locum contract with excellent hourly rates.

This is the perfect opportunity for a clinician with NHS or GP practice experience who wants to provide frontline patient care in a rewarding and well-supported environment.

Job Details:

• Role: Practice Nurse Band 6

• Location: Epsom

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: TBC

• Working Pattern: Full time or Part time

• Contract Length: Ongoing

• Hourly Rate: £28 to £33 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

In this Primary Care locum role, you will:

• Conduct patient consultations within a GP practice or PCN setting

• Manage long-term conditions and minor illness presentations

• Support chronic disease clinics (e.g. diabetes, asthma, hypertension)

• Provide patient triage, referrals and follow-up care

• Accurately document all clinical activity using EMIS/SystmOne

• Collaborate with GPs, practice nurses, clinical pharmacists and MDT staff

Who We’re Looking For:

• Current NMC registration

• Experience in Primary Care, General Practice or PCN environments

• Confident in autonomous practice with excellent clinical judgement

• Familiarity with EMIS or SystmOne is an advantage

• Committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position and requires availability for full time or part time hours, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
