Senior Mental Health Practitioner – Band 6 – Perinatal Mental Health Team, York
Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are supporting the AMH NYYS YS Perinatal Mental Health Team at Huntington House, York, in their search for a Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hybrid role, providing specialist mental health support to individuals within the perinatal period.
Providing high-quality mental health care to individuals experiencing perinatal mental health difficulties.
Conducting assessments, formulating care plans, and implementing interventions.
Managing risk and safeguarding concerns to ensure patient safety.
Working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Offering psychological support and advice to service users and their families.
Maintaining accurate records and adhering to professional standards.
Qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with valid professional registration.
Minimum Band 6 experience.
Experience in Perinatal Mental Health or Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) is preferable.
Strong assessment, risk management, and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Start Date: ASAP – 4 weeks
Contract Duration: 3-6 months ongoing
Working Pattern: Hybrid, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: £25.78 – £26.01
