Join the Department of Psychiatry & Psychology as a Consultant Psychiatrist, taking clinical responsibility across adult and CAMHS services. In this role, you will:
• Deliver care across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
• Lead psychopharmacological management and MDT coordination
• Supervise junior staff and contribute to ward rounds
• Participate in on-call rota, including liaison with acute hospital services
• Prepare court reports and contribute to Mental Health Act processes
• Engage in clinical audits, service development, and peer review
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Board certification or equivalent specialist certification
• Eligibility for specialist registration with the local medical council
• Experience as a generalist Consultant Psychiatrist
• Strong leadership and MDT working experience
• Ability to work in a high-performing, demanding clinical environment
This is a full-time permanent position, with clinical responsibilities determined by service needs across adult and child services.
• $2,000 per month accommodation allowance
• $5,000 relocation bonus + flights covered
• $6,000 contribution toward movement of goods (receipts required)
• 30 days annual leave
