We are working with a growing private neurodevelopmental clinic in Brentwood that is looking to add experienced medical associates to support increasing demand for early years Autism, ADHD and combined assessments. The service offers face-to-face clinics in a warm, well-supported environment with strong admin input and MDT involvement.

• Job Title: Associate Community Paediatrician or Child Psychiatrist
• Location: Great Warley, Brentwood, Essex
• Duration: Ongoing associate contract
• Schedule: 1 to 2 assessment days per month, dependent on availability and referral flow
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £450 per ADI-R, 3Di or equivalent Autism assessment, £450 per ADHD assessment, £600 per combined assessment

The role will involve:

• Completing face-to-face Autism, ADHD and combined assessments for children within the early years clinic
• Working with children aged 18 months to 7 years for Autism assessments and 5 to 7 years for ADHD assessments
• Taking part in MDT discussions and providing brief diagnostic feedback within the clinic session
• Working jointly with SALT colleagues for Autism and combined assessments
• Completing ADHD assessments independently, with wider clinic support in place
• Dictating reports, with transcription and administrative support provided by the clinic

We are looking for someone with:

• GMC registration
• Experience completing Autism and/or ADHD assessments in the NHS, private sector or both
• Relevant training such as ADI-R, 3Di, DIVA or ADOS
• Experience working with children within the required age ranges
• A strengths-based, child-centred approach
• Confidence working within an MDT and communicating clearly with families

Working pattern:

This is an associate role offering around 1 to 2 assessment days per month initially, with 2 clients per clinic day depending on referral flow. Autism clinics are likely to run on Fridays during the daytime, with flexibility based on service need and clinician availability.
