CMHT – Mental Health Practitioner (OT / Social Worker / RMN)
Pay rate: £26 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (09:00–17:00, Monday to Friday)
Duration: ASAP – 31/05/2026
Location: Chorley
Overview:
We are supporting a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Chorley with a requirement for an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner. This role sits within an established multidisciplinary team and requires a clinician confident in managing a caseload and supporting duty functions.
Key responsibilities:
• Hold and manage a caseload of patients within a CMHT setting
• Complete duty and Initial Response Service (IRS) assessments
• Carry out comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
• Administer depot medications where required
• Work with medications including Clozapine and Lithium
• Contribute to MDT working and care planning
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
Requirements:
• Qualified Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or RMN
• Minimum Band 6 experience within a CMHT setting
• Experience with duty work and assessments
• Competent in depot administration
• Knowledge of Clozapine and Lithium management
• Right to work in the UK
