Looking for a rewarding Health Visitor opportunity across beautiful Hereford & Worcestershire with flexibility and competitive pay?

We are currently recruiting multiple Band 6 Health Visitors to support a range of community teams across the county.

Job Title: Band 6 Health Visitor (x6 total roles across multiple teams)
Location: Countywide – Hereford & Worcestershire (including Pershore and Kidderminster bases)
Duration:

  • 4 x posts – 6 months
  • 1 x post – 3 months (Pershore Health Centre, 18 hours per week over 3 days)
  • 1 x post – until end of July (Kidderminster Health Centre)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9–5 (flexible working available across all posts)
Rate: £26 per hour
Requirement: Car driver with business insurance essential


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering high-quality universal and targeted health visiting services to families within the community
  • Undertaking health assessments, development reviews, and safeguarding work
  • Supporting early intervention, public health promotion, and complex case management
  • Working collaboratively within integrated multidisciplinary teams
  • Managing caseloads effectively across a defined geographic area
  • Contributing to safeguarding processes and attending relevant meetings where required

Requirements & Qualifications

  • NMC registered Nurse or Health Visitor qualification
  • Recent experience working as a Health Visitor within a community setting
  • Experience working within a small team environment (essential for Pershore role)
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
  • Full UK driving licence with business insurance

Working Hours & Contract Details

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Monday to Friday core hours (9–5), with flexibility considered
  • Short and long-term contracts available across multiple bases
