An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate clinician to join the CAMHS Crisis Team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
We are seeking a highly skilled practitioner ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will deliver essential, specialised support to children and young people experiencing acute mental health distress, making a meaningful difference when they need it most.
Role: CAMHS Crisis Practitioner
Location: Chesterfield Royal Hospital
Duration: 3-month contract (Immediate start required)
Schedule: Full-time, rotational shifts (08:00–20:00 / 10:00–22:00)
Rate: £35.00 per hour
Proven experience within a CAMHS or acute crisis setting
Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills
Ability to manage complex risk in a high-pressure environment
A compassionate, young-person-centred approach to mental health care
Relevant professional registration (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent)
