Registered Mental Health Nurse – York – Ongoing - Day/Night

We are currently looking for a Register Mental Health Nurse (RMN), up for a new challenge?

Below are some of the key details of the role:

• Job Role: RMN
• Band: 5
• Location: York
• Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
• Schedule: Day or Night availability
• Start date: ASAP
• Rate of pay:  £21 - £29 per hour (depending on schedule)

Day in the life of an RMN:

As a mental health nurse, you will have a vital role in delivering care for patients:

• To conduct visits to patients on the ward to check in to make sure their needs are met.
• Administering any medication needs for patients at a set time every day to treat their needs.
• Talking to patients and being able to understand their conditions to be able to help them in the most efficient way and monitor potential improvements or setbacks.
• Perform risk assessments where necessary to ensure the patients are not a danger to themselves or others around them and providing a safe environment for the patients during their treatment.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

• An active registration through the NMC as a mental health nurse.
• Proven to have RMN experience of some kind.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work alone as well as with a team when necessary.
• Have the commitment to provide the best quality of care for the patients.
