• Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
• Band: 6
• Location: South Yorkshire
• Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate of Pay: £25.50 per hour

A Day in the Life of a Community Psychiatric Nurse: As a community-focused RMN, you will play a crucial role in supporting and caring for patients in their own environments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patient Visits: Conduct regular check-ins to ensure your patients' needs are being met.
• Medication Administration: Provide timely medication to manage and treat patient conditions.
• Patient Interaction: Engage in meaningful conversations to understand your patients' conditions, helping them improve and monitoring their progress.
• Risk Assessments: Perform necessary evaluations to ensure patient safety and create a secure environment for their treatment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Active NMC Registration: You must be a registered mental health nurse.
• Community Experience: Proven experience in community settings is essential.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and handle pressure.
• Team and Solo Work: Flexibility to work independently and within a team.
• Commitment to Care: A dedicated approach to providing top-quality patient care.
