Locum Community Psychiatric Nurse or Social Worker
Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) or Social Worker
Sector: Adult Mental Health Team (Ages 18-65)
Location: Shoreham-by-Sea
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Rate: £26 per hour (umbrella)
Contract: Locum
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Psychiatric Nurse (NMC Registered) or Social Worker (SWE Registered) to join an adult mental health team in Shoreham-by-Sea. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing vital care and support to adults aged 18-65 with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload and acting as a care coordinator for service users.
- Undertaking mental health assessments, risk assessments, and care planning.
- Providing therapeutic interventions and promoting recovery-oriented outcomes.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Liaising with service users, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic support.
Essential Requirements:
- Professional Registration: Valid NMC (for CPN) or SWE (for Social Worker) registration.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience working in adult mental health settings.
- Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.
- Skills: Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination abilities.
- Availability: Able to start promptly and commit to full-time hours.
Additional Information:
- While this is primarily an on-site role, there is potential for some part-remote working, subject to manager discretion.
- Competitive hourly rate of £26 umbrella.
