Job Opportunity: Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) - HMP Service

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with common mental health problems? We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our team at HMP Essex.

Role Overview: As a PWP within the prison setting, you’ll play a crucial role in assessing and supporting individuals experiencing anxiety disorders and depression. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patient interviews to identify areas for change in thoughts, feelings, or behaviors.
• Carrying out risk assessments.
• Providing phone, online, or face-to-face support.
• Working one-to-one or in groups/workshops.
• Enjoy flexible working hours, including the possibility of remote work.

Requirements:

• PG Diploma in Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (LI CBT).
• Ability to travel to the HMP Essex location.
• Experience in delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Type: This role is available as either a permanent or locum position, and rates will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
