We are recruiting experienced Consultant Psychiatrists to join a rapidly growing remote adult ADHD service on an ongoing contractor basis.
The service operates a GP-led assessment and diagnosis model with Consultant Psychiatrist oversight. You will work alongside experienced GPs, reviewing and discussing ADHD cases and providing senior psychiatric oversight within the clinical pathway.
This is predominantly an oversight/review role rather than ongoing medication titration, with prescribing and titration managed separately by the service's GP and Non-Medical Prescribing teams.
Requirements:
• GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist
• Strong psychiatry experience at Consultant level
• ADHD/neurodevelopmental experience highly desirable
• Comfortable providing clinical oversight within a high-volume remote service
• Able to work effectively within a wider multidisciplinary team
There is significant ongoing demand, with multiple Consultant requirements available. The service can accommodate up to 5 days per week, depending on availability.
The service is also launching a children's ADHD pathway from November, so we are particularly keen to speak with Child & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrists interested in future remote opportunities.
