Job Title: Band 6 Care Coordinator
Location: Manchester
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Until 15th August)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £26 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join an Early Intervention Team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to service users aged 14-65. In this role, you will:

• Oversee the clinical management of a caseload of service users
• Participate in duty rota, including triage and assessment responsibilities
• Support clients in treatment planning and recovery-focused interventions
• Promote independence, self-help, and long-term skill maintenance
• Conduct specialist mental health assessments in line with the Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding procedures
• Undertake and document comprehensive risk assessments and management plans
• Support safeguarding investigations, including Section 42 enquiries
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
• Provide consultation and mental health advice to partner services
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold service standards

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current and valid NMC registration or relevant professional registration
• Previous experience within Early Intervention, community mental health, or care coordination
• Strong assessment, triage, and caseload management experience
• Knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults procedures
• Experience with risk assessment and crisis management
• PARIS system access is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and MDT working skills
• Immediate availability preferred

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start and contract running through to 15th August, with strong potential for extension.
