We are working with a community mental health team in the Winchester area that is looking to bring in an experienced CPN to support ongoing demand across its adult community service. This is a full-time locum position suited to someone confident managing a caseload and working independently within a CMHT setting.

• End Date: 3 month ongoing

The role will involve:
• Managing a caseload of adults within the community mental health team
• Completing assessments, reviews and risk management plans
• Delivering care coordination and ongoing mental health support in the community
• Liaising with MDT colleagues, primary care, social care and external agencies
• Supporting service users with relapse prevention, care planning and safeguarding where required
To be considered, you will need:
• NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse
• Previous CMHT experience or strong community mental health experience
• Confidence managing a caseload independently
• Good risk assessment, communication and care coordination skills
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Working pattern:
This role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The post will be based within the Winchester community team, with duties focused on caseload management and community-based mental health support.
