Working within an Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service, you will manage a community caseload of service users experiencing first episode psychosis, carrying out comprehensive mental health assessments, developing person-centred care plans, managing risk, and delivering recovery-focused interventions. You will work closely with service users, families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes while supporting individuals to remain within the community wherever possible.
To be successful in this role, you will need a current and valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), previous experience working within a Community Mental Health or Early Intervention service, and strong assessment, risk management and care coordination skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
This is a full-time locum position working Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with an ASAP start. The contract length is currently ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on service needs.
