Band 7 CAMHS Crisis Nurse – Surrey – Up to £44ph

Hunter Gatherer Mental Health are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 CAMHS Crisis Nurse to join a specialist out-of-hours CAMHS Crisis Service covering Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-acuity service supporting children and young people presenting in crisis, with a combination of crisis outreach and respite-based interventions.

The Role

• Band 7 CAMHS Crisis Nurse
• Surrey (Redhill base with travel across the county)
• 30 hours per week
• Out-of-hours service
• 1pm – 9pm shifts
• Outreach visits typically between 5pm – 9pm
• Ongoing contract
• Mileage paid

Pay Rates

• £32ph – Days
• £38ph – Nights & Saturdays
• £44ph – Sundays & Bank Holidays

Key Duties

• Crisis assessment and intervention for children and young people
• Working with high-risk CAMHS presentations
• Delivering community outreach visits across Surrey
• Supporting a 7-day respite service
• Risk management and safety planning
• Liaising with CAMHS, social care, safeguarding and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation

Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration
• Previous CAMHS Crisis experience is essential
• Experience managing high-risk children and young people
• Strong risk assessment and safeguarding knowledge
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
