We are working with a mental health service in Brent that requires an experienced CMHT clinician to support the day-to-day running of a busy adult community team. This post would suit someone confident in clinical leadership, care coordination and supporting adults with severe and enduring mental health needs.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties within a CMHT setting
• Coordinating day-to-day clinical activity and helping ensure team priorities are managed effectively
• Completing assessments, risk assessments, care planning and reviews in line with local policy
• Supporting referral meetings, discharges and safe throughput across the service
• Providing clinical advice, supervision and support to staff within the multidisciplinary team
• Working closely with the Team Manager, care coordinators, consultants, carers and external agencies

What we’re looking for:

• Relevant professional registration, such as NMC or HCPC
• Strong experience within adult community mental health services
• Confidence managing complex cases, risk and care coordination responsibilities
• Ability to provide clinical leadership and support junior or wider team members
• Good understanding of CPA, safeguarding, record keeping and MDT working
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with service users, carers and partner agencies

Working pattern:

The working pattern is currently TBC, but the post will sit within a CMHT structure and will involve close collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team. The successful clinician will be expected to contribute to clinical decision making, service coordination, supervision and safe management of the team caseload.
