Band 7 Senior Social Worker – £30 per hour – Hertfordshire

Location: Hertfordshire
Start Date: 10th February
Contract Length: 4-5 months
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 AM – 17:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £30 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Senior Social Worker to join a dedicated team in Hertfordshire on a 4-5 month contract. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments and developing care plans
• Providing expert guidance and support to social workers
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes
• Safeguarding and advocating for vulnerable individuals
• Managing complex caseloads with professionalism and efficiency

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant degree and registration
• Previous experience in a senior social work role (Band 7 or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage a varied and challenging caseload
