Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
Band: 6
Team: Wolverhampton Crisis and Home Treatment Adults
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, weekdays)
Location: Wolverhampton, UK
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £25 per hour (Umbrella rate)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join our team. As a Band 6 CPN, you will be integral in providing crisis intervention and home treatment to adults facing acute mental health issues. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to perform assessments, create care plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions, ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments during crisis situations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each service user's needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and ongoing support to service users and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care within the community setting.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
- Experience: Proven experience working in mental health, preferably within crisis intervention and home treatment settings.
- Skills: Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- License: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a car.
- Availability: Able to start as soon as possible.
- Flexibility: Willing to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week, weekdays).
