Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join our team. As a Band 6 CPN, you will be integral in providing crisis intervention and home treatment to adults facing acute mental health issues. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to perform assessments, create care plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions, ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments during crisis situations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each service user's needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and ongoing support to service users and their families.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care within the community setting.

Requirements:

• Qualification: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
• Experience: Proven experience working in mental health, preferably within crisis intervention and home treatment settings.
• Skills: Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• License: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a car.
• Availability: Able to start as soon as possible.
• Flexibility: Willing to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week, weekdays).
