Locum Part-Time Social Worker (Inpatient Hospital – Eating Disorders)

Location: Chichester area 
Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hourly Rate: £33 to 35 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced and compassionate social worker with a passion for supporting individuals with eating disorders? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a team at a small inpatient hospital specializing in eating disorder treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguarding: A significant portion of your role will involve ensuring the safety and well-being of thr patients, identifying risks, and taking appropriate actions in line with safeguarding policies.
• Assessment of Social Care Needs: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address the social care needs of patients.
• Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Actively participate in care planning meetings as part of the MDT to deliver personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Code of Practice Compliance: Uphold the standards set out in the General Social Care Council’s Code of Practice for Social Care Workers.

Requirements:

• A recognized social work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
• Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with patients with eating disorders.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
