We are currently recruiting for 2 x Band 6 RMN or Occupational Therapists to join the Aspen Adult Community Mental Health Team based at Warneford Hospital, Headington, Oxford.

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Shift Pattern: 09:00 – 17:00
  • Number of Posts: 2

Charge Rates (NHSI – from 01/04/26 onwards)

  • Day: £25.70
  • Night: £37.00
  • Saturday: £37.00
  • Sunday / Bank Holiday: £44.50

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will be working within a secondary care community mental health service, supporting adults with complex mental health needs. You will be responsible for:

  • Comprehensive mental health assessments and care planning
  • Risk assessment and management
  • Care coordination within the community MDT
  • Supporting service users through recovery-focused interventions
  • Liaising with families, carers, and wider services to ensure safe and effective care
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Essential experience working within secondary care community mental health services
  • Ability to work independently within a community setting
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
  • Strong communication, risk assessment, and care coordination skills
