Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)

The Oxon Perinatal Team based in Oxford are looking for a Band 6 Perinatal Practitioner to join their service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments
• Managing a complex caseload of service users within the perinatal pathway
• Providing practical advice and support, including family work
• Delivering psychological interventions where appropriate
• Overseeing safeguarding concerns (adult and child protection)
• Liaising with multiple services involved in the care of service users during the perinatal period
• Working within a community mental health framework

Requirements & Qualifications

• Qualified RMN, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker
• Experience working within adult community mental health teams
• Strong triage and assessment skills
• Desirable: experience within perinatal mental health services
• Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle
• Ability to work daily from a base location
• Strong safeguarding knowledge (adult and child protection)

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00 – 17:00
• 37.5 hours per week
• Ongoing contract
• Start ASAP
